Machine tool 1836M.10

A specialised wheel turning machine of the 1836M.10 model was put into operation in April 2019 in the Republic of Guinea.

The 1836M.10 machine is designed to perform turning operations for the manufacture of new and repair profiles of wheel set bands for railcars, diesel locomotives, electric locomotives and motor carriage sections with a track gauge of 1440 mm and a diameter of Ø850-1250 mm.

In April 2018, KZVV signed an agreement for the supply of a wheel turning machine model 1836M.10 to the Republic of Guinea.

The machine was shipped to the customer on 14 January 2019.

For reference: 1836 wheel turning machines have been manufactured at KZVV since 1958. The design of the machine has been constantly improved in the process of multiple upgrades. The 1836M.10 machine has been manufactured at KZTS since 1992.

In total, the company has produced more than 1200 machines of this modification, which are successfully operated at railway transport enterprises in Ukraine and other countries of the world.
