Private Joint Stock Company ‘KZVV’ is the largest developer and manufacturer of heavy and unique machine tools that meet the most advanced requirements and are successfully operated in more than 50 countries.

Kramatorsk Heavy Machine Tool Plant was put into operation on 24 February 1941. Within a few months, the plant mastered the serial production of the 1945 model rolling machines. The first post-war rolling machine of the 1945 model was produced in 1945. By the end of the year, 36 wheel turning machines of the 1936 model were manufactured and production of the 1865 model multiple spoke-cutting machines began.

During the post-war period, the plant mastered a range of heavy manually operated lathes.

These were manually operated machines. They had a direct current main drive with a machine converter, spindles on plain bearings, and cast iron frames without hardening.

Over 16 years (from 1951 to 1967), 420 machines of this generation were manufactured.

In 1961, the design department of the plant started to create a new range of heavy lathes of the second generation

The design features of the second-generation range of machines include increased rigidity of the basic body parts, double-row adjustable double-row adjustable high-precision roller bearings on the spindles, a reliable workpiece clamping system using worm-amplified worm-amplified worm-amplified jaws, an electrocopying system using electromagnetic clutches, and axial force sensors on the tailstocks.

Over 26 years (from 1962 to 1988), about 1,500 second-generation lathes were manufactured. Mastering the production of this range of machines was recognised with the USSR State Prize in 1973.

Since 1981, the plant has been producing third-generation machines.

In total, more than a hundred third-generation machines have been produced.

The development of the fourth generation of machines – machines with a contour numerical control system – began in 1981.

A total of 27 prototype CNC machines were produced between 1981 and 1988. The experience gained made it possible to start designing a new range of heavy-duty CNC lathes – the fourth generation range.

The new range includes the following models: 1K660FZ, 1K665FZ, 1K670FZ and 1K675FZ3.

The plant began continuously improving its machines back in 2000 with the creation of a new, fifth-generation machine tool.
Using the experience gained over many years, applying the best foreign components (CNC systems, high-precision large spindle bearings, etc,
hydraulic equipment, etc.), the task was accomplished.

In 2002, the first machines were manufactured and delivered to the customer. Over the years, more than 30 fifth-generation machines have been delivered to customers.

Since 2010, the plant has been operating in two areas: it has been creating modern high-performance CNC machines, equipping them with grinding, milling, drilling and other devices, as well as measuring sensors for workpieces and measuring sensors for workpieces and measuring sensors for tools, repairing machines, manufacturing spare parts and other products, and providing installation and commissioning services.
PrJSC ‘KZVV’ became one of the first companies in Ukraine to manufacture parts for power plants at an industrial site. KZVV PrJSC has mastered the production of towers for wind power plants.

PrJSC ‘KZVV’ became one of the first companies in Ukraine to manufacture parts of power plants at its industrial site. KZVV has mastered the production of towers for wind power plants.

The enterprise collaborates with well-known companies, Ukrainian metallurgical plants, railway transport enterprises, and others.

The successful operation of the plant has been repeatedly recognized with government awards.
