Products with the KZVV brand name include the 1836M.10F3 wheel turning machine for machining wheel sets with rolling out for carriage wheel profiles with the Sinumerik 840Dsl CNC system. It was put into operation in Uzbekistan in 2018.

For reference: Wheel turning machines of the first generation have been produced at KZVV since 1946. The 1836M.10F3 machine is the V generation of wheel turning machines.

The 1836M.10F3 is a CNC wheel turning machine equipped with two calipers, designed for turning new and restoring worn wheel set shoe profiles for railcars, diesel locomotives, electric locomotives and motor car sections with a rail gauge of 1520 mm and a diameter of 800-1250 mm.

• According to its purpose, the wheel turning machine mod. 1836М.10 F3 has the following functional capabilities:
• turning along the entire profile of the wheel set rim;
• turning individual sections of the wheel set rim profile to eliminate local defects;
• determining wheel wear, optimising the machining allowance;
• turning various wheel surface profiles;
• Turning of the inner side surfaces of the wheel rims;
• Cutting of the wheel rim;
• Honing of the outer diameter of the wheels for the wheel rim nozzle;
• Automatic measurement of the wheel profile before and after processing with graphical display of the results on the control panel monitor.

The time for grinding one worn wheel set at a cutting depth of 2.5 mm is no more than 15-25 minutes (depending on the diameter of the wheel set).
