Machine tool 1836M.10F3.05

The product bearing the KZTS brand – a CNC wheel turning machine of the model 1836M.10F3.05 – has been manufactured, passed acceptance tests and is being prepared for shipment to the customer in Cuba.

The machine, equipped with two slides, is designed for turning new and repair profiles of wheel set bands for railcars, diesel locomotives, electric locomotives and motor car sections with a track gauge of 1435 mm and a rolling circle diameter of ø 800-1250 mm.

The wheel turning machine model 1836M.10F3.05 has the following functional capabilities in accordance with its intended use

• turning along the entire profile of the wheel set rim;
• turning of individual sections of the wheel set rim profile to eliminate local defects;
• determination of wheel wear, optimisation of machining allowance;
• turning of various wheel surface profiles;
• Turning of the inner side surfaces of the wheel rims;
• Turning of the outer diameter of the wheel centre for the wheel rim nozzle;
• Automatic measurement of the processed profile and graphical display of the results on the control panel monitor.
